Deploying Custom Docker images on Scrapy Cloud

Modified on Sun, 15 Sep at 9:10 AM

⚠ Note: this is an advanced feature in beta stage. Use with care.

Scrapy Cloud runs your spiders in Docker containers and allows you to build custom images to deploy there. This feature is currently only available for paying customers (you need to be subscribed to at least 1 paid Scrapy Cloud Unit which costs $9). Zyte Smart Proxy Manager(formerly Crawlera) and Splash subscriptions are not considered, as the deploy is a Scrapy Cloud feature.

If you want to deploy custom docker images to Scrapy Cloud, check this documentation.

However, if you don't need to customize your spider's environment, you can continue deploying your spiders as you always did.
